Sanders Garden Centre in Brent Knoll has updated its announcement about a new pet store opening.

The centre had said that Pets at Home was due to open a new store by the end of the year, but in an updated statement on Tuesday, owners Blue Diamond said that a different franchisee, Pets Corner has signed a deal.

“We will have Pets Corner, an ethical pet care retail store chain with 145 stores across the UK,” a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
The main area of business for Pets Corner is specialist natural pet foods, plus accessories and treatments, predominantly for dogs and cats, but also for small animals, reptiles, birds, wildlife, and tropical and cold water fish.

A four week re-fit of the new store is underway and work is due to be completed before Christmas for the new concession.

Dogwood Pet Spas, a natural pet grooming salon and spa offering a range of packages, treatments and walk-in services, will also open at the same time.
