A new multi-million pound Brean Country Club will open its doors to the public from Monday (December 3rd).
The £4m facilities are located next to Brean Golf Club and feature two function suites – one with 140 seats, plus casual dining serving breakfasts, lunches, afternoon teas and dinner.
The menu will offer traditional British classics with a fine dining twist, all cooked to order from ethically sourced local produce by local chef Simon Hyde, who has almost 30 years’ experience within the industry, managing restaurants with the prestigious accolade of two rosettes.
It will also serve as a venue for weddings, with a civil ceremony licence, and private and corporate functions, school proms, family celebrations, team building days and a wide selection of business and community events.
The Country Club will be hosting a Wedding Open Evening on Wednesday 19th December from 5-8pm to preview their wedding suites. There is no need to book – just call in for an informal look around where staff will be on hand to answer questions.
The Country Club will welcome members of Brean Golf Club to their new home, as well as new members, with modern changing and locker rooms and a stylish new Pro shop being just some of the modern additions for all to enjoy.
With Christmas fast approaching, they will be serving festive lunches, afternoon teas and evening meals from opening until 23rd December.
In addition, there will be an introductory Christmas Party Night taking place on Saturday 22nd December, with some places still available, offering a three-course evening meal followed by a disco.
New Year’s Eve offers a night of nostalgia with fabulous 1940’s-1950’s style resident singer and solo artist Shannon Kitchen, who appeared on TV’s The Voice, and an eight-course menu, which includes canapes and a welcome cocktail.
This new venue sees the creation of up to 15 positions from within the local area. A total investment of £4million has been made into the family-owned business that also includes the business operations of Brean Leisure Park and Holiday Resort Unity.
