Burnham-On-Sea’s new look Specsavers store is set to re-open on Friday 22nd February following a refurbishment.
For the past few weeks the store at 3 The High Street has been closed while new equipment and an extra testing room have been installed.
The seating area has also been made larger, with facilities now more easily accessible for wheelchair-users.
Rama Venkat, store director, told Burnham-On-Sea.com that the aim is to give customers an even better experience when they visit, as well as the improvements being a ‘vote of confidence’ in the town centre’s future.
Rama adds: “The refit has been going really well. Many of the people we see have been coming to us for years and we want to repay their faith in us by providing the best possible experience when they come through our doors.”
“That is why we are combining the latest eye care and retail technology to give our customers the most highly professional and ultra-modern service.”
“Of course, the staff are in store to help out along the way. Myself, Chris Maden and Faye Crawford have been with the store since day one, and other staff members have been with the store for 10 years, and while the store has been getting an uplift, the staff have been busy using this time for extra training courses.”
“We think people will be impressed by the store when it’s finished. I would urge all our current and new customers to drop by and say hello, and of course we’re dog-friendly so you can bring your pets in too.”
