A Burnham-On-Sea shop is counting the cost of crime after being burgled in the early hours of Saturday morning (July 8th).
A glass door at the entrance to New Look in Burnham High Street was smashed to gain entry at around 4.30am, as pictured above.
A shop spokeswoman told Burnham-On-Sea.com that a quantity of clothing was taken in the raid.
Two people – a man and a woman – were believed to have been involved and CCTV footage is being examined.
The store has re-opened after being closed on Saturday morning.
The Police investigation is ongoing and anyone with information should call 101.
It is the latest in a series of break-ins in the town centre – Boots has been burgled four times this year, prompting it to install security shutters this month as we reported here.
