A new life-saving defibrillator has been unveiled at Sanders Garden Centre in Brent Knoll following a fundraising campaign.
The equipment has been introduced at the centre with the support of Burnham-On-Sea Lions, customers, and the owners of the centre, Blue Diamond.
Talking to Burnham-On-Sea.com, a spokesman for Blue Diamond said: “Our previous defibrillator proved to be a lifesaver on more than one occasion but was in need of replacement.”
“We are extremely grateful to all those who have contributed to its replacement so we can ensure this facility is available for the foreseeable future.”
“We raised £950 for the defibrillator with £250 donated by Burnham-On-Sea Lions, £200 by Blue Diamond, and the rest from customers and staff giving donations and buying tombola tickets in store.”
