A new community café has opened at a pub in East Hunstpill this week.
The Old Cyder House Cafe has opened at East Huntspill’s Crown Inn, providing a wide-ranging menu of hot food, drinks and snacks.
The cafe is open Monday to Saturday from 6.30am – 2pm and offers takeaways and eat-in meals.
The cafe’s Kathryn Cooke said: “We provide freshly cooked all-day breakfasts, light lunches, salads, sandwiches and cakes.”
“We are also offering evening meals such as fish and chips, each evening from 6-9pm.”
“We have identified a need in the village for a cafe from locals and passing trade – and we look forward to giving a warm welcome to customers.”
