Pizza chain Domino’s opened its new store in Burnham-On-Sea on Monday (October 25th), creating 40 new jobs.
The pizza chain giant was given approval earlier this year to create a new take away inside the former Barclays Bank branch at 33 Victoria Street in Burnham-On-Sea, which closed in October 2018 and has been vacant since.
Domino’s originally applied for the store to be able to trade until 3am, but this was reduced to 1am following concerns from councillors and some residents, as reported here.
Gersone Balachandar, Area Manager for Burnham-On-Sea Domino’s said: “We’re thrilled to have opened this new store in Burnham-On-Sea, allowing us to deliver our delicious menu of handcrafted pizzas to even more of our loyal customers across the country.”
“We’re currently on the lookout for exceptional people to be part of our in-store team including customer service representatives, pizza chefs and delivery drivers. With more than four in five of our store managers starting their own career out as team member, these roles offer a fantastic opportunity for ambitious people looking to grow and build a care with the nation’s best-loved pizza company!”
Domino’s confirmed it is creating 40 new jobs with the Burnham-On-Sea store’s opening. Anyone interested in a position in-store can contact the Recruitment Team at jobs@dpsw.co.uk. Those being recruited include pizza chefs, in–store team members and delivery drivers.
He added that to celebrate the opening, the new store is offering customers any size pizza for £8.99 when you collect until 3rd January 2022.
To make the most of the opening offer, collect in store, order online at www.dominos.co.uk, via the Domino’s app, or call the store on 01278 554949.
