A new shop has opened in Burnham-On-Sea this month, selling far eastern artisan wares and handicrafts.
Called Joya, the business has opened in Burnham’s Victoria Street inside Ming Emporium opposite the Ritz Cinema and is run by Jocelyn Cole and Lily Schofield.
Jocelyn said: “We are selling a wide variety of fabrics, including wall hangings, throws, bed spreads, cotton quilts, cushion covers, curtains and rugs from India plus gifts and handicrafts.”
“These materials are all of a top quality and are unique to this area. It’s something very different for Burnham and we look forward to welcoming visitors.”
The shop is open Wednesdays to Saturdays 10.30am-5pm.
