Brean Golf and Country Club is to hold an Open Day on Sunday 9th June when visitors can see the modern new facilities.
Following the opening of the new £4m Brean Country Club development earlier this year, the open day is being held in conjunction with Brean Golf Club from midday to 4pm.
The day will offer the opportunity for budding golfers to meet their resident PGA Golf Pro and Director of Golf Andrew March, discuss membership options and benefits plus enjoy a tour of the course by golf buggy.
A spokesman said: “Those with golfing experience can enjoy a few holes of golf during the afternoon on the 5684 yard, par 69 course.”
“Special offers will be available to anyone taking up membership on the day and goody bags for the first 50 visitors containing offers for both golf and dining.”
“The facilities at the Country Club will be open, where you can enjoy a drink, lunch or afternoon tea, or just pop in and have a look around and admire the stunning views of the Somerset countryside from the balcony.”
“The venue is open seven days a week to anyone (no membership is required to use the Country Club) for breakfast, lunch, afternoon teas, evening meal or just for drinks.”
“The venue is also available to hire for weddings, corporate events and family occasions so it is an excellent opportunity to see what’s on offer in an informal manner.”
“What’s more, the luxury holiday lodge show homes will be open to view on the day, and members of their sales team will be on hand to answer any questions about ownership in this exclusive development, which has a 12 month licence for holiday use as well as a 35 year site licence.”
“The open afternoon will include fun for all the family with free children’s bouncy castle. Brean Country Club is accessed via its own dedicated entrance off Red Road with a large free car park. There’s no need to book, just turn up on the day!”
