One minute’s silence was held before last night’s Town Council meeting in Burnham-On-Sea in memory of a former councillor who recently died.
Councillors and local residents stood in silence at the start of Monday’s meeting in memory of former Burnham and Highbridge Mayor, Neville Jones OBE.
Neville served as a town councillor for 30 years and during that time was Mayor for four terms. He passed away last month at the age of 94 and his funeral was held last week.
