A former Highbridge school teacher is appearing on Channel 4’s hit TV quiz show Deal Or No Deal this week, with hopes of winning £250,000.
Nagib Ghafar is a familiar face to former students of King Alfred School, where he taught maths for several years and ran an after-school chess club.
He has already appeared several times on the teatime TV show, hosted by Noel Edmonds, without being chosen to compete for the top prize.
The popular quiz has a top prize of £250,000 and sees the 22 players trying to outwit the banker and walk away with a big sum of money. The latest episodes of Deal or No Deal can be seen on Channel Four’s website here.
