An afternoon of great live music is set to be performed in Highbridge on Sunday (August 5th).
‘Music at the Rec’ will be staged in the town’s Southwell Gardens next to the recreation ground from 12.30pm to 5.15pm, led by The Jury (pictured above).
The organisers from CADS, the Burnham and Highbridge Cultural Arts and Development Society, say the event is one of the highlights of its 21st season of local performances.
“It will feature locals Kev Boley, Citrus Fox, Merv, Last one Home, and The Jury,” said organiser Mike Murphy.
“It promises to be a great afternoon of live, free music with funky Rhythm and Blues, Country and Rock and Roll.”
There will be a real ale cider and soft drinks bar, burgers, teas and coffees, ices and a kidzone – all in the Southwell gardens with free parking in the Bank Street car park.
