A man was arrested in Burnham-On-Sea on Wednesday (September 30th) on suspicion of murder.
It follows the discovery of the body of a 54-year-old woman at a property in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire at about 4.45am.
Police say the death is being treated as suspicious and a 59-year-old man was arrested in Burnham-On-Sea on suspicion of murder.
Police were seen by residents on Burnham’s beach at around 7am in connection with the arrest.
