Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge’s MP James Heappey was among the visitors to Highbridge’s Southwell House community hall when it held an open morning on Saturday (May 11th).
The facilities, located behind the Bank Street car park, include a large meeting room plus a small kitchen, and are used by several local community groups, including Highbridge U3A.
Chairman Derick Cooper said the hall’s management team are keen to promote the facilities further and encourage more groups to use them.
On June 22nd, the hall will host a fundraising day for Guide Dogs For The Blind from 12pm-4pm with a tombola, raffle, bric-a-brac and knitted products.
The hall is available for private bookings, which can be made on 01278 786688.
