A motorist was treated for minor injuries following a three-vehicle collision on the M5 between Bridgwater and Burnham-On-Sea this morning (April 1st).
Avon and Somerset Police officers attended the scene, and two lanes were closed while the vehicles were recovered.
The crash resulted in delays between Sedgemoor Services and J23 Bridgwater North.
A crew from South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) attended the scene and a man was treated for minor injuries.
A spokesperson from Avon and Somerset Police said: “We were called at 8.34am today (April 1st) to a report of a three-vehicle collision on the M5 southbound between junctions 22 (Burnham-On-Sea) and 23 (Bridgwater).”
“Officers attended and supported with the recovery of the vehicles. A man was treated by the ambulance service for minor injuries.”
