A motorist has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after crashing into a Burnham-On-Sea ditch.
Police were called to Burnham’s Stoddens Lane on Saturday evening (November 2nd) after reports of a two-vehicle collision.
A Police spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were called about a two-car, no-injury road traffic collision at about 9.20pm on Saturday night in Stoddens Lane.”
“One car was in a roadside bush and the other was blocking the road.”
“The driver of the car that ended up in the bush was arrested on suspicion of drink driving. He was later released under investigation.”
In a second, separate incident a man was charged with drink driving after a 2.15am Highbridge roundabout crash on Sunday morning.
