Video footage of a Burnham-On-Sea motorcylist allegedly speeding on roads on the outskirts of the town has been published on the Web this week.
The footage – which was posted on YouTube and first came to light in our discussion forum – shows the biker leaving a house and then travelling along Love Lane to the Edithmead roundabout at the M5 before returning along the same route.
The video itself is blurry, and it appears that the video camera has been mounted on the motorcyclist himself.
Police spokesman Dan Mountain told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Driving at speed does risk the lives of riders and others using the road.”
“The motorcyclist is also risking a long ban should he be caught. We would also say that if anyone knows of inviduals involved in speeding, they should contact police.”
