Burnham-On-Sea’s Marine Cove Gardens will play host to a special performance by a group of Morris Men today (Thursday, August 15th).
The Chalice Morris Men will be performing a display of their traditional music and dancing in the seafront gardens at 7.45pm.
The group are keen to encourage as many visitors and local residents to watch the show.
“Please come along to the gardens, on Burnham-on-Sea’s historic esplanade, to watch this popular traditional dance and maybe even take-up the opportunity to have a go yourselves!” said a spokesman.
This event is supported by Sedgemoor District Council and the Friends of Marine Cove.
The Morris Men will also perform on Saturday 17th August at 10.15am next to Burnham jetty. This is a part of a charity day in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support.
