A group of Highbridge students has recently returned from a special visit to Morocco.
Six sixth form pupils from King Alfred School visited the country on an expedition.
The highlights of the trip included a four-day trek through the Atlas Mountains, camping with Berber nomads and haggling in the boisterous markets of Marrakech.
The students also experienced a camel trek in the Sahara Desert and spent a night under the stars in a Berber camp.
“The expedition to Morocco is one of many opportunities students enjoy during their time in the sixth form at King Alfred School,” the school’s Simon Aylward told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
