Three vehicles damaged in early morning Highbridge accident

-

Residents in part of Highbridge got an early morning wake-up call on Saturday (December 27th) when a tow truck careered into two parked cars.

The 5am accident saw the vehicle collide with this red mini, which had been bought for a teenager as a Christmas present, plus another vehicle in Morland Road.

“The truck crashed into two cars with a loud bang, setting off several loud car sirens,” local resident Alan Miller told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

Police spokesman Wayne Baker said Burnham police had been alerted but had not needed to attend. “There were no injuries,” he added.
