A kind gesture by two members of Burnham-On-Sea’s Moose International Lodge resulted in a cheque for £250 being handed over to the Babe Appeal this week.
Moose members David and Maggie Gully asked friends and family to help them celebrate their golden wedding anniversary by giving a donation to charity, rather than giving them presents.
And the result was a cheque being handed over to Sheila Fisher of the Babe Appeal at this week’s meeting of the Moose International Group at Berrow.
