A Highbridge gymnastics club has hosted its 100th birthday party at its new premises in the town.
Monarchs Gymnastics Club, which opened its new premises in Brue Way on Highbridge’s Walrow Industrial Estate last year, organises parties for children and held its milestone event at the weekend, as pictured here.
The club received grants totalling £23,000 from Burnham and Highbridge Town Council, Sedgemoor District Council, a Highbridge Community Fund and British Gymnastics last year.
This enabled the purchase of new equipment for toddlers and pre-school sessions – and the equipment is also available to families booking birthday parties at weekends.
