Model train enthusiasts roll into Burnham-On-Sea for 27th annual show

-

Crowds of model train enthusiasts from across the UK gathered in Burnham-On-Sea over the Bank Holiday weekend for a popular two-day exhibition.

The 27th annual Sedgemoor Rail show, run by Burnham and District Model Railway Club, was held on Saturday and Sunday (29th and 30th August) at King Alfred School.

“It was a superb event – we had 15 exhibitors, 20 layouts and many demonstrations and displays,” the club’s John Langley told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“We had more people wanting to come along this year than we could cope with, but rumours that we wil be moving the show to a new venue are not correct – we are very happy here at King Alfred School.”
