Health Minister Norman Lamb is visiting the Burnham-On-Sea area today (Thursday) to discuss local health issues.
Burnham’s MP Tessa Munt invited him to attend a special Q&A session with local doctors, practice managers and those who have contacted her on health-related matters since her election.
The Minister for Care and Support in the Department for Health, Norman Lamb, will attend the session at Wedmore Village Hall.
Tessa told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The NHS has undergone significant change in the last decade, and many people have contacted me about their difficulties in accessing healthcare, particularly the challenges in finding care and support for patients with mental health conditions.”
“Norman is the Minister who has finally put mental health care on the NHS’s agenda, and I am very keen that local residents have the opportunity to put their views to the Health Minister, and that they should be able to seek answers to their questions.”
