Tickets on sale for Burnham-On-Sea’s Mid-Summer Madness concert

-

Tickets are selling fast for this weekend’s Burnham-On-Sea Mid-Summer Madness concert, which will be held over two nights at the town’s Princess Theatre.

The event – which effectively replaces the town’s ‘Under A Summer Moon’ concert – will bring together a top line-up of entertainers on Friday 24th July and Saturday 25th July.

Friday’s entertainment includes The Cornish Wurzels, Vermin, The Morris Brothers featuring Jason Morris, who is the youngest musician to be named UK Guitarist of the Year, and The Communicators, a strong local band who are just back from Glastonbury (pictured).

Saturday’s line-up continues with Ben Pang And His Band, Mr and Mrs Russell, special guests The Wrinkly Rappers, the talented Gary French and his band, and Two Choices, who were voted Best Indie Rock band for 2009 by Play Music magazine.

The event will also include a full bar service, a hog roast on both nights, plus beer and cheese-tasting.

Tickets are available from GC Music in College Street, The Pier Tavern in Pier Street or by calling 07810113824. Tickets cost £7.50p per night, or £12.50p for both evenings.

Added to all this, Music magazine editor, and West Country comedian Scrumpy Bob will compere the whole show over both nights, making this an experience not to be missed.

Friends of the Princess committee member Mike Lang told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Don’t forget that this is also a charity fundraiser for the Friends Of The Princess so by coming along you will not only be entertained, but you will also be supporting our charity.”
