Glastonbury Festival boss Michael Eavis visited Burnham-On-Sea on Tuesday (September 24th) where he gave a talk on his involvement with the long-running music festival.
Michael, who earlier this year said that Burnham is his favourite place in Somerset, spoke to members of Burnham’s Women’s Institute.
He gave a light-hearted talk at Burnham Community Centre regarding his work around the festival and his busy schedule.
He also spoke of his love for Burnham, which he frequently visits, and praised its laid-back, unspoilt nature.
Burnham W.I.’s Brenda Adams thanked him for visiting and providing the group with such an interesting talk.
In 2008, Mr Eavis was the VIP guest that turned on Burnham’s Christmas lights, as featured here. And in 2011, he opened the community-run tourist information centre on The Esplanade, as featured here.
