Burnham-On-Sea residents have been warned to expect thunderstorms today (Tuesday).
A yellow weather warning has been issued for severe weather across the south west today by the Met Office.
The warning lasts from 3am until 11.59pm with forecasters saying there could be flash flooding, lightning strikes and hailstorms.
Thunderstorms are forecast to sweep through Burnham-On-Sea between 10am and 11am, from midday until 3pm, and between 6pm and 8pm.
Showery rain is also forecast throughout the day.
