Sell-out audience enjoys Mercury gig at Burnham’s Princess Theatre

-

A sell-out audience of more than 200 people filled Burnham-On-Sea’s Princess Theatre on Friday night (16th March) to watch an adrenaline-filled performance by a top Queen tribute act.

Mercury – who are widely regarded as one of the world’s most authentic tributes to pop legend Freddie Mercury and Queen – entertained the audience with a powerful line-up of memorable hits.

The event was the first concert organised by The Princess’ management committee, led by Chairman Peter Burridge-Clayton (pictured right with the band) and Theatre Manager Andy Pulleyn.

Peter told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were delighted the concert was completely sold out a week before the show. Everyone had a great evening and the audience gave the band two standing ovations at the end of the night.”

The next main Princess event will be its first Comedy Night on Saturday 14th April at 8pm featuring several fantastic comedians – Gary Coleman, Taylor Glenn and Yianni Agisilaou – who are regulars of the comedy circuit and have all featured at the Edinburgh Festival and appeared on TV. Tickets, costing £8 are available by calling the box office on 01278 784464.
