Burnham-On-Sea’s Mayor and Mayoress have this week formally thanked two town councillors for their work in the town as they stand down in May’s elections.
Michael and Maria Clarke thanked outgoing Cllr Phoebe Harling and Cllr Arthur Thorogood for their work in the community during Wednesday’s Annual Town Council Meeting.
The pair also praised long-running town councillor Eric Gill, who is stepping down from his position after suffering a heart attack last year, and concillors Danny Titcombe and Derek Cooper.
