The position of Mayor’s Chaplain in Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge has changed this week with the arrival of a new minister.
Andrew Jackson, minister of Hope Baptist Church in Highbridge has replaced Reverend Robin Lodge, the outgoing vicar of St John’s Church.
Reverend Lodge has been vicar of Highbridge for five years and is soon to become vicar of St Andrew’s Church in Taunton.
Mayor Derick Cooper said: “On behalf of the town council, I would like to thank Robin for all his work as Mayor’s Chaplain over the last few months and wish him very well for the future in Taunton. We also welcome Andrew to the position.”
