Burnham-On-Sea’s Mayor made a special visit to the town’s hospital and three nursing homes on Christmas morning to spread some festive cheer.
Cllr Michael Clarke was joined by Town Crier Alisdair Murray and members of the Friends of Burnham Hospital for the well-received visit at the town hospital.
Michael told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It was truly lovely to visit the hospital, along with all my other visits.”
“The hospital was supported by musicians and a small choir, and the carols were enjoyed by the patients. Hopefully it added a little to their Christmas Day.”
The Mayor also visited Abbeyfield, Katherine Chambers and Burnham Care Home during Christmas morning.
