Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge’s Mayor and Mayoress made a special visit to a school in the town this week.
Cllrs Michael and Maria Clarke visited Churchfield School on Wednesday to announce the school council representatives.
They also toured the whole school and the nursery, saying they were “hugely impressed” with everything they saw. They especially enjoyed seeing the outdoor learning that was taking place.
The Mayor commented on how polite the children were, praising their good behaviour and the interesting questions they asked.
The year six children had a chance for a questions and answer session.
