Burnham-On-Sea’s Marine Cove gardens will come to life on Monday (2nd May) when a traditional May Day celebration is held.
The event will take place from 11am to 1pm with the sound of the Chalice Morris Men.
The children from St Joseph’s School will also be performing traditional country dancing in the seafront gardens.
To celebrate May Day there will also be free craft activities for children, including flower making and plant pot decorating, plus a fairy hunt with a reward for those who complete the challenge.
Green Flag award-winning Marine Cove is located next to Burnham’s St Andrew’s Church on The Esplanade and plays host to many free activities throughout the year.
