A popular Burnham-On-Sea craft shop has new owners following the sale of the business.
Material Needs in Burnham High Street has been sold by John and Katharine Edwards to Cheddar couple Nick Hebborn and Nicky Garland.
Nick told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “John and Katherine have done a superb job running this business over the years and we now hope to further develop it.”
“A high standard of customer service is so vital with a business like this and we are continuing to focus on offering that same level of quality.”
“We understand that there’s nothing like seeing and touching the materials when you visit a shop like this – and that’s something you can’t do online!”
Material Needs has won the coveted ‘South West Stitching Retailer Of The Year’ and the coveted award for ‘Overall Stitching Retailer in the UK’ several times in recent years at the annual British Craft Awards.
John said: “We wish Nick and Nicky all the best with the shop and it’s great to see that they have lots of ideas to further develop and grow the business.”
