Masons give £1,000 boost to Burnham Disabled Swimming Club

-

Burnham-On-Sea’s Disabled Swimming Club was handed a £1,000 boost on Wednesday (December 7th).

Somerset Masonic Charities Committee, represented by Peter Hodder, the Provincial Almoner for Somerset, presented the donation to the group at Burnham’s Swim and Sports Academy in Berrow Road, as pictured.

Burnham Disabled Swimming Club’s Chairman, John Lovett, thanked the group for the donation, adding: “Many thanks go to Mr Hodder’s committee and the there Masonic Lodges who also joined this fundraising activity. Their exceedingly generous donation will help us meet the expenses of our purely voluntary body.”
