‘Fred the Red’, the official club mascot of Manchester United, visited Burnham-On-Sea on Friday (October 30th) during a tour of Somerset.
The mascot appeared at Britannia Building Society’s branch in College Street, where he was met by a group of fans.
Philippa White, manager of Britannia’s Burnham branch, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were delighted to welcome Fred as guest of honour for our football themed fun-day.”
“Supporters were able to meet him and have their photo taken with the mascot.”
The mascot has also called into three other Britannia branches in the county during this week’s Half Term Holidays to meet staff, customers and supporters.
