A celebrity TV chef visited a garden centre near Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday (August 1st) to officially open a new part of the centre.
Martin Blunos, who has a regular slot as a guest chef on BBC1’s Saturday Kitchen, showed off his cooking skills at Sanders Garden World in Brent Knoll.
Peter Burks, General Manager of Sanders Garden World, who is pictured with Mr Blunos, said: “We were delighted that Martin, who is one of the country’s greatest chefs, was able to join us.”
“He was in-store to host a barbecue cooking demonstration. People were able to find out how to make the best beef burgers from scratch, they sampled some of the food Martin cooked and picked up tips.”
Martin is well-known from his appearances on television and has held two Michelin stars for more than 15 years.
The TV chef, who was brought up near Bath, also recently made a 10-part series for ITV called Tasting Times with Martin Blunos.
The chef launched a new area of the centre selling Leekes Conservatories.
Peter added: “Despite the rainy weather, the official launch of Leekes Conservatory and Kitchens was a great success and lots of people turned up to see Martin in action.”
