A Burnham-On-Sea martial arts club took advantage of the warm weather to hold an outdoor training session on the town’s beach.

Members of the Gemini Tae Kwon Do group gathered on the beach near the Pavilion on Thursday evening (September 10th).

Instructor Jane Lambert told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We are a Burnham-based club and we like to train on the beach when the weather is good.”

“The gym we normally used is at King Alfred’s – but they had their open evening so it was a great opportunity to come and have a fun session on the beach.”

“The class has pupils aged from 4 to 70 and they all had fun doing variations on our usual drills, using the sea as a natural training aid too!”

Gemini Tae Kwon Do train on Tuesdays and Thursdays at King Alfred School at 6:30pm. All ages are welcome and during September and October they are offering free trials to new students.
