Wet weather hit the number of entries at the annual Mark Flower Show this week, but organisers have praised the quality of entries.
Local resident Pat Kick, right, was delighted to scoop no fewer than five trophies for her flower entries.
Show Secretary Joan Thompson told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “While the quantity of flowers, vegetables and garden entries was down on some previous years, the quality was excellent as usual and we thank everyone who supported the event.”
Dozens of entries went on display at the event, from cookery items and photos to craftwork and handmade wood items.
Other winners included Jessica Phipps, below, who won a trophy for her food entries. Others, also pictured below, were Mary Chalker and David Thompson, who won the Chairman’s Choice trophy.
