Graffiti has been daubed over walls in Burnham-On-Sea town centre and at the town’s Marine Cove gardens this weekend.
Sedgemoor District Council, which manages the seafront gardens, is investigating CCTV footage following the vandalism, which is believed to have been carried out during the early hours of Saturday morning (April 13th).
Several walls and business properties have been ‘tagged’ with spray paint, including multiple walls and the shelter in Marine Cove, as pictured here.
Police have appealed for witnesses and are asked for anyone with information to contact them on 101.
One angry nearby resident contacted Burnham-On-Sea.com, saying: “It’s a disgrace that anyone would do this. I hope the Police quickly find out who it is and stop them.”
