The group that runs Burnham-On-Sea’s Marine Cove gardens will be holding a fundraising plant sale on Monday (March 5th).
Residents are being encouraged to visit the seafront gardens, next to St Andrew’s Church, between 10am and midday when a selection of plants will be available to purchase, plus handmade items.
The money will be used to fund future events at the garden which are organised by The Friends of Marine Cove.
It comes after a proposed family learning course at the gardens on 10th March has been delayed. However, there is still lots of events planned at Marine Cove with further learning opportunities during April and May. More details will be featured on Burnham-On-Sea.com soon.
The Friends of Marine Cove would like to hear from anyone who has ideas about how to involve the community with the gardens with suggestions of future events. Suggestions can be emailed to community.services@sedgemoor.gov.uk
