Dozens of people got into the festival spirit during a free Christmas carol concert at Burnham-On-Sea’s Marine Cove on Saturday (November 23rd).
Sedgemoor District Council and the Friends of Marine Cove held the special event at the seafront gardens, with mulled wine and mince pies available to visitors.
Burnham and Highbridge’s Choral Society and The King Alfred School Youth Band entertained the crowds with a selection of well-known carols.
Younger visitors were also encouraged to take part in a festive-themed garden treasure hunt with a sweet gift for those who completed it. Sedgemoor’s Community Gardener, Jacqui Strong, said the event had been a great success, boosted by good weather.
