A charity which provides care and support to people with terminal illnesses and their families is seeking a Volunteer Collection Box Co-ordinator in Burnham-On-Sea.
Marie Curie hopes to find a Volunteer to look after its charity collection tins in Burnham-On-Sea.
Local fundraiser Riona Houghton told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “This is a great role for someone who knows the local area well.”
“They will be placing boxes of our small daffodil pin badges in local shops and business throughout February and picking them up at the end of March.”
“They will then need to count and bank the money raised. These boxes will then hopefully be replaced by an all year-round collection tin.”
Those interested in finding out more about the role can call Riona Houghton on 01179 420429 or email riona.houghton@mariecurie.org.
