The trio ran in aid of three charities: Petal – The Christine Woodberry Memorial Trust which supports cancer sufferers, Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research, and the Heart Foundation.
Scott has been heavily involved in charity work over the past six years on behalf of Petal that he and his brother and sister set up in memory of their mum, Christine Woodberry.
It all started when two friends he met whilst completing the Five-Peaks Challenge in 2013 in aid of Petal said they were keen to take part in another challenge and this was how the team was formed. The trio put in many hours of training over the past few months to get ready for the challenge.
“Each of the causes was very dear to our hearts and was at the forefront of our minds during the challenge,” said Scott.
He also thanked the trio’s sponsors – Taylor’s Landscaping, M Mansfield Estate Agents, Avalon Leisure and Unique Gym in Bridgwater.
£7,000 has been donated to the mens’ charities so far, and further donations can still be made online via their donations page, which can be accessed here.
