Burnham-On-Sea’s Manor Gardens get a £13,000 face-lift

-

Sedgemoor District Council has this week completed a £13,000 face-lift of Burnham-On-Sea’s Manor Gardens.

The improvements include new fencing, kerbing, plants and seating plus the repainting of barriers.

District council spokeswoman Claire Faun told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “An old white painted ranch fence which ran along the road has been replaced with new black, powder-coated metal railings while the barriers at the entrances have also been repainted.”

“The area to the rear of the main building has been improved with the removal of the old, random stone flowerbed edging, which has been replaced with concrete edged kerbs.”

She added: “The refurbished flower beds will also be replanted with shrubs. New litter bins and dog-waste bins have also been provided throughout the gardens and new seating has also been ordered.”
