A man has been arrested after an assault in Brean early on Friday (August 23rd) left a person with head injuries.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident and an area near the McColls store in South Road, Brean has been taped off by officers, as pictured here.
Police spokesman Wayne Baker told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were called to South Road, Brean at about 2am to reports of an assault.”
“The victim suffered a head injury.”
“Shortly afterwards a man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of wounding. He remains in police custody.”
