Tickets have gone on sale this week for a ‘Mamma Mia’ themed fundraising event to raise money for the Friends of Burnham-On-Sea Hospital.
The ‘Mamma Mia’ evening will be held at the Oak Tree Arena at Edithmead on Saturday 19th March from 8pm.
“The ticket price is unchanged from a similar event we held last year at £15, and this includes a free glass of wine or half pint of beer or a soft drink, plus a fabulous buffet, cabaret and disco,” Tony Deahl, the Chairman of the Friends of Burnham Hospital, told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“The main aim of the evening is to have fun and, as the theme this year is ‘Mamma Mia’, themed costumes are preferred, although not essential.”
“Last year, over £1000 was raised and this was put towards buying much-needed high tech mattresses to make hospital stays more comfortable for patients.”

A fundraising Quiz Night which was planned for this Saturday (12th February) has been cancelled.
