Burnham-On-Sea fundraiser unveils unique baby gift boxes for charity

-

A Burnham-On-Sea teenager is selling hand-made gift boxes full of baby items and holding a series of fundraisers to support a cause close to her heart.

Maisie Creswick, a GCSE student, is raising money for The Lullaby Trust who try to prevent Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

“I am passionate about babies and childcare and hope to go into a career of midwifery after university,” she told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“I’m holding a series of fundraising events this summer to raise funds and awareness about the charity.”

Her beautifully decorated gift boxes are filled with high quality baby essentials for youngsters aged from 0-6 months.

Each gift box costs £30 and includes high-quality items including two dummy soothers, baby wash, wipes, a Muslin, socks or mittens, a selection of new quality clothes to include a T-shirt or vest plus bib and a sleep suit.

She has also hosted a 70s disco night, is doing a sponsored walk on August 17th from Axbridge to Winscombe, and is holding a bake sale in Cookson Close this Friday July 27th from 9am through the day.
