A Burnham-On-Sea pupil is celebrating after successfully taking part in the National Biathlon Championships at Crystal Palace.
Macy Noad, a Year 5 student at St Andrew’s Junior School in Burnham-On-Sea, won a silver medal after completing a 50m swim and a 800m run.
The school’s Jim Gillard told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The whole school is very proud and have enjoyed celebrating with her.”
“Macy has also been very successful at this season’s area cross-country events, winning her age group and being selected for county.”
