Motorists have been warned that Burnham-On-Sea’s M5 motorway junction will be temporarily closed during overnight roadworks next month.
The Highways Agency is currently undertaking work to improve safety between Burnham and Weston.
The southbound entry and exit slips roads at junction 22 will be closed on Sunday 1st December from 10.30pm until 12.30am the following morning.
The northbound entry and exit slip roads at junction 22 will also be closed on Monday 2nd December from 12.30am until 1.45am.
Further along the motorway, the southbound entry and exit slip roads at Sedgemoor Services will be closed on Sunday 1st December from 9.15pm until 12.30am the following morning.
The Highways Agency says narrow lanes and a 50mph speed restriction will be in operation northbound and southbound until the end of February 2014. The work was recently featured in more detail here.
